10T AGV Transfer Cart With Omnidirectional Operation

August 19, 2026

Recently, BEFANBY's customized AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) intelligent trackless transfer cart for a Singaporean client has successfully completed on-site commissioning and is now officially in use. This project primarily utilizes the transfer of workpieces between different work areas. The transfer cart employs outdoor navigation technology, coupled with rubber tires and an omnidirectional design, allowing for flexible movement in outdoor environments. Furthermore, the project supports the coordinated operation of two transfer carts, meeting the stable transportation needs of large and long workpieces.

Outdoor Navigation, Freeing You from Fixed Track Restrictions

This AGV utilizes outdoor navigation technology, customizing its operating route and navigation scheme to suit the customer's actual working environment. This allows the transfer cart to flexibly transfer workpieces in outdoor work areas. Compared to traditional rail-mounted transfer carts, trackless AGVs eliminate the need for fixed tracks, reducing site modification restrictions and allowing for adjustments to transport routes based on production layout.

For workpiece transport between different areas within a factory, this flexible operation mode better adapts to complex outdoor working environments, providing customers with more flexible material handling solutions.

Omnidirectional Operation Design, Enhancing Transfer Flexibility

The transfer cart uses rubber tires, allowing it to run directly on hardened surfaces that meet usage requirements. Simultaneously, the omnidirectional operation design gives the transfer cart greater mobility, enabling flexible omnidirectional movement and timely adjustments to transport routes based on actual conditions.

For outdoor work scenarios requiring frequent changes in direction, omnidirectional operation reduces the space required for turning and U-turns, allowing the AGV to more flexibly transfer workpieces even within limited areas.

Dual-Vehicle Collaboration, Meeting the Needs of Large Workpiece Transport

A key feature of this Singapore project is the support for the coordinated operation of two AGVs. When transporting large or long workpieces, two AGVs can work collaboratively to support and transfer materials, allowing for a more efficient distribution of load capacity between the two machines.

Dual-vehicle linkage not only expands the overall load-bearing capacity and transport range, but also flexibly solves the handling of large workpieces while ensuring stability during transport. The two AGVs operate collaboratively according to a unified control logic, enabling them to develop corresponding transport plans based on workpiece size and site conditions, solving the challenges of handling large workpieces for customers.

Completed Commissioning and Officially Put into Use

Currently, this AGV intelligent trackless transfer cart, exported to Singapore, has completed on-site commissioning and is officially in use. From solution design to manufacturing and on-site commissioning, the entire project was tailored to the customer's actual working conditions.

This project also demonstrates BEFANBY's non-standard customization capabilities in AGV intelligent trackless transport, outdoor material transportation, and dual-vehicle linkage transport. In the future, BEFANBY will continue to provide more flexible and efficient intelligent material handling solutions based on different customers' transport distances, load requirements, site environments, and material characteristics.
